Casa Galpao in Nova Lima

Marcos Franchini and Nattalia Bom Conselho from Belo Horizonte explain their design for Casa Galpao in Nova Lima (BR). The detached house for a family of three is located in the hilly landscape of a nature reserve. The generous domicile is documented in detail in issue 5.2021.
Marcos Franchini is a Brazilian architect from Minas Gerais, Belo Horizonte, city where he currently lives and works. He lived in Recife, Brasília and Paris. He graduated in Architecture and Urbanism from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais in Belo Horizonte in 2010. He holds a master's degree in Metallic Construction Sciences from UFOP (2017) and has been a teacher since 2018. He has his own office since 2012. In parallel, since 2006, he has given the workshop for sketches 'Oficina de Croquis'.
Nattalia Bom Conselho is a Brazilian architect from Minas Gerais, Belo Horizonte, city where she currently lives and works. She lived in Turin. She graduated in Architecture and Urbanism from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais in Belo Horizonte in 2014.
She is a specialist in Cultural Heritage (CECI/UFPE 2016). She has his own office since 2014 working with architecture and cultural heritage in all its aspects and ranges.
