Cycle chic: Crocodile skin helmet by Sawako Furuno.

“Helmet hair” is not a complimentary term, but with this product from, Sawako Furuno, it does not matter, because you will not want to take your cycling helmet off!

This version is covered with faux crocodile skin, but complying with EU and US standards, there is no need to compromise your ethical standards or your safety to look chic on the cycleways.

The story started when Sawako Furuno, a Japanese architect, visited London in 2006 hoping to pick-up some elegant headgear from the back lane boutiques.

He was disappointed, in that regard at least, and made a resolution to design his own cycle helmets. And so was born his company Sawako Furuno. Since that moment cycling has never looked so elegant.
