Levit8: Portable Folding Lectern

Alternating standing and sitting while we work is a good idea, but not everyone has a lectern in the office, or even an adjustable desk. Singapore’s industrial design trio Levit8 Co. has developed a product that will appear on the market next year: Levit8, the folding lectern. They have used an old box-folding technique to create a tabletop accessory that holds a laptop, allowing users to work in a standing position. When Levit8 is not being used, it can be transformed into a flat object about the size of a magazine and taken along. Its portability is proven by its weight, which is less than that of a Macbook Air. The Levit8’s coating is resistant to both water and stains. What a great idea!
