Impossibly thin: Washbasin by Thomas Coward

wash basin in elevation

Dune, an impossibly thin and elegant washbasin was designed by Thomas Coward for Omvivo. He took as his inspiration the organic forms of ever-shifting sand dunes giving the product an enigmatic name for something so closely associated with water!

The washbasin is, according to its makers, highly practical challenging the notion that utilitarian objects cannot also be sculptural. The basin is made of polished Corian and comes in black and white as well as left or right hand models.
