Forest Marshmallow Laser feast; by Studio Marshmallow Laser.

It was an interactive laser installation commissioned for the STRP Biennale in Eindhoven. Covering an area of 450 square metres it involved 150 musical trees created from green laser light and rods! Designed by Studio Marshmallow Laser, it brought out the inner child in everybody that experienced it.

The audience were invited to freely explore the space, creating motion and noise that interacted with the light.

Each tree emitted a noise tuned to a particular tone. Together the trees created a harmonious sound played through the powerful audio set-up to produce a memorable installation.

Gratitude to urdesign.
