Fifty Shades of White: S/H Apartment in Tel Aviv

Yael Perry, an Israeli interior designer, has transformed this 42m²-small apartment in the heart of Tel Aviv into a minimalistic work of art. The apartment is narrow and long; before the renovation, it had no storage space, no wardrobe and only a small bathroom. After the renovation work, it had been given a bright living room with a separate kitchen area, a bedroom and a spacious bathroom. All the interior walls had been removed and a new spatial structure created: a foyer with a bespoke wardrobe cupboard, a kitchen counter and a compact bedroom separated from the living area with ceiling-high closets.

The designer was not intimidated by the narrow space: in order to enable a unique aesthetic experience, she decided to decorate the entire apartment in just one single colour: white. White hardwood floor, gleaming white walls and white furniture: the green leaves on the plants appear like a vivid fireworks display in an environment like this.
