Biodegradable transport: Be.e scooter.

In keeping with today's theme of, things associated with electric vehicles, the Be.e scooter electrifies environmentalists, and shocks other vehicle manufacturers by proposing a scooter with a structural body that is biodegradable.

The aim was to design the greenest scooter ever, so it had to be electric, but what makes the Be.e special, is that its body is made from flax and bio-resin, a combination that is biodegradable.

In a collaborative effort InHolland, NPSP composites and Van.Eko, Waarmakers designed the body to form a monocoque construction which is both structural and aesthetically accomplished. It eliminates the need for separate frame and body panels making the scooter extremely sustainable, light and strong.
