On July the 22th the touring exhibition of the Japan Foundation and the Architectural Institute of Japan was opened at Obersten Baubehörde in Munich. Besides the famous stararchitects like Toyo Ito, Kengo Kuma and Shigeru Ban also young talented offices are presented. The variety of different positions amoung these architects range from super estetic building skins to social projects, which on purpose do not aim for perfectionism. After greetings of Ministerialdirigent Joachim Paas and the japaneese consul general Juichi Kosuge Munich based architect Hannes Rössler explained this variety within the contemporary japaneese architecture in showing interesting housing projects.
