Visual Comfort and Freedom of Design

The Jilly office luminaire family from Erco has been developed with an LED lens optic in a grid arrangement and comprises recessed and surface-mounted ceiling luminaires as well as pendant luminaires and downlights for track luminaires. Square and linear designs as well as various sizes, light distributions and louvre colours are available. With this product, the manufacturer is aiming for standard-conforming ergonomics and a high level of glare protection. The lighting technology consists of highly-efficient optical polymer lens systems arranged in a grid, combined with mid-power LEDs offering a luminous efficacy of over 140 lm/W. Two light distributions are possible: the axis-symmetrical Oval Wide Flood and the rotation-symmetrical Extra Wide Flood, both with 86°. The lens optics in conjunction with the black or silver louvre ensure, according to the manufacturer, high visual comfort and with UGR < 19 comply with the standards for office workplaces. The recessed ceiling luminaires have been designed to be flat with a recess depth of less than 100 mm in the hollow ceiling.
