Planning security technology on the computer
Architects and planners are increasingly dealing with burglary and fire protection solutions on behalf of their clients. In order to enable the installation of security technology to be easily and reliably planned at an early construction stage, software manufacturer DDS is integrating Telenot's products into its DDS-CAD software, one of the most widely used programs for planning technical building equipment (TBE).
Software manufacturer Data Design System (DDS) and security technology company Telenot have together decided to integrate Telenot's products into the TBE software DDS-CAD. The professional software for technical building equipment allows users to plan building technology such as smoke detectors and motion detectors as well as access control systems using CAD. Electrical installers, architects and property developers can thus integrate the security and hazard alarm products from the Telenot portfolio during the planning phase, including all the technical data as well as images and symbols, thereby allowing the design of the systems to be checked directly in the 3D building model. This simplifies planning in the complex and sensitive area of building security.
Growing demand for smart-home features
With the integration of these products, Telenot and DDS are responding to the growing demand for security systems and smart-home control functions in the private, public and industrial sectors.
DDS is currently the only software manufacturer to include Telenot articles in its database and thereby cover security technology in full. Users of DDS-CAD Version 12 and higher can benefit from this comprehensive integration of the Telenot products.
