Living in the Treetops: Apartment Building by Brenac & Gonzalez & Associés

With this project, the great challenge for Brenac & Gonzalez & Associés consisted in mediating between the surrounding architecture and their own ideas for the floor plan. The fragmented building development of this new block in Romainville presents a contrasting design to the classic structures form the 1960s which are often seen in this neighbourhood.

A Second Home on the Roof: Panache Apartment Building in Grenoble

French architect Édouard François is known for rethinking the everyday and coming up with radical solutions. With his latest residential high-rise, the Panache building in Grenoble, he has brought the usual apartment balconies together as a multi-storey landscape of rooftop terraces.
