London Design Fair
Date: 21 – 24 September 2017
Place: Shoreditch, London
Set in Shoreditch, the creative heart of London, the London Design Fair has earned itself the reputation as the go-to show during the annual London Design Festival. This four-day event brings together 500 exhibitors from 31 countries, hosting the largest collection of independent designers, established brands, international country pavilions, features and exhibitions.
Over 27,000 influential retail buyers, architects, interior designers, press, and design-savvy public attend to see the very latest in furniture, lighting, textiles and conceptual installations from around the world.
In Assembly: the USA pavilion, curated by Sight Unseen, expect to see works from Ladies & Gentlemen Studio, Christopher Stuart, Fernando Mastrangelo, Studio Proba & Bower, with many pieces seen outside the US for the very first time.
The British Craft Pavilion, curated by Hole & Corner doubles in size, with over 40 of Britain’s finest makers working in a range of disciplines. Alongside these will be 2 large-scale commissioned installations by Ariane Prin & Zuza Mengham.
Taking its place alongside the other 12 country pavilions, for the first time ever, Dutch design gets its long-awaited showcase in London with Dutch Stuff. The notoriously rebellious and unorthodox attitude of Dutch design will be represented by Vij5, Dutch Invertuals and Form&Seek amongst others.
