Locking Concept for the Humboldt Forum

The Humboldt Forum in Berlin has been equipped with an electronic locking system from Assa Abloy. It is intended to meet the high safety standards for the event and meeting centre and enable easy management of the various user and visitor groups. The Ikon eCLIQ electronic locking system offers the necessary flexibility for this, with temporal and spatial access authorisations able to be easily defined and lost keys deactivated. It is managed via a cloud-based platform. A total of around 1500 locking cylinders were installed in the new building and around 700 intelligent keys made available.
