As part of the refurbishment of a day care centre in Sömmerda, the decision was made to install seven round F100 flat-roof windows from Lamilux. These have diameters from 80 to 180 cm and are located in the central multi-purpose room. The colourful accents of the ceiling openings and the different skylight sizes make the room appear child-friendly and playful. Additional LED lighting has been integrated into the skylights as an eye-catcher. A specially-developed frame profile provides a smooth transition to the glazing and allows rainwater to drain off unhindered to the sides. A pleasant room climate is also guaranteed due to very good thermal insulation properties and optimised sound insulation through special glazing.
