Keeping Construction Costs Under Control

While model data transfer was pre-viously restricted to the IFC file format, with the 2019 version of G&W Software has integrated the CPIXML format, which is widely used in infrastructure planning. In addition to standard information and visualization, CAD systems can also provide values such as layer thickness, volume, material and identifiers for defined cost elements. BIM2AVA independently evaluates the building model according to pre-defined criteria. It provides each individual component with all its properties and automatically groups identical components into variants.

The planner automatically screens countless components with just one service definition in the variant. In doing so, he draws on the Standardleistungsbuch for road and bridge construction (StLK), and the StLB-Bau for construction, own project data or individual empirical values.
