Derix Group: Timber constructions in industrial halls

Sustainability aspects, a high load-bearing capacity with a low dead weight, short construction and assembly times as well as the possibility of realising large, column-free spans are among the arguments in favour of choosing timber. The company cites a 2830 m2 salt-storage hall in Sondershausen as an example of a timber framework consisting of a three-joint frame structure.
