The architects paid great attention to, among other things, the fittings. They opted, for example, to use the Komé lever handle series from Randi, designed by C.F. Møller Architects from Denmark. Thanks to the large selection of model variants, the architects were able to equip the building throughout with products from the series, including variants for windows and emergency exits. For a floor-to-ceiling built-in furniture item in the entrance area of the architectural office, the architects chose black fittings.
Door system specialist Eco Schulte supplied not only the Randi fittings but also the intelligent access controls at Phoenixwerk. Numerous third-party products also had to be integrated. The front and access doors to the units, which are fitted with motorised locks, also allow access with RFID chips. These are programmed by administrators so that each chip holder receives their very own access-authorisation profile. The authorisations can be altered at any time or blocked, for example, in the event of loss.
