Contactless Door Operation

Viruses and bacteria often spread via droplet infection, but stubborn pathogens, too, like getting directly onto the face via the hands. It therefore does no harm if doors at certain points in public buildings or medical practices, for example, can be opened and closed without contact. With PortaMatic, Hörmann offers an easy-to-install hygiene solution for wooden and steel doors weighing up to 125 kg. The drive is operated via a wall switch; a hand is held in front of it and the door opens without contact. Alternatively, it can be operated via app. A hand-held transmitter with a light and warning signal is included as standard. Because it can be removed without problems or residue, the drive is also suitable for rental properties. According to the manufacturer, it is up to 25 percent cheaper than comparable interior door operators.
