A Wolf in Chic Clothing - Visual Worlds Are Created Not Just by Artists, but by Designers As Well

The field of design has developed over the past years from a rather confined, isolated existence to one of influence within the realms of both economy and social culture. This radical transformation can be best observed within the disciplines of interior architecture and interior design. These disciplines can assist people in finding acceptable orientation within their immediate surroundings, by lending particular situations familiar associations or status. The first prerequisite is the recognition of the essence of a space and the accurate evaluation of such, rather than simply the definition of objective functions. The demands on interior design, as a strategic instrument or cornerstone of a dynamic social culture, have developed immensely, and continue to increase – particular examples being restaurants, fast food outlets, kitchen design establishments and television news studios.
